Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and vszn.s (“we”, “us”) for the Nexo Discord bot and dashboard (the “Service”). By adding Nexo to a server, logging in or buying Premium you accept them.

1. Who can use Nexo

You must be old enough to use Discord in your country (at least 13) and able to form a binding contract. If you accept on behalf of a community or company you confirm you may do so. You must follow the Discord Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Developer Policy.

2. Server administrators’ responsibilities

If you add Nexo to a server you are responsible for how you configure it and for the data its features record. You must tell your members what the bot does (for example moderation records and ticket transcripts), have a lawful basis for it, and respect their privacy rights. Our Privacy Policy explains our side.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use Nexo to break the law, harass or harm others, send spam or malware, evade Discord’s rules, collect personal data in ways that are unlawful or deceptive, attack or overload the Service, probe or bypass its security, scrape or resell it, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows. We may limit or remove access to protect users, the Service or Discord.

4. Owner approval guard and the global blacklist

Nexo can quarantine new bots, flag very new accounts and flag users on the global blacklist, and ask the server owner to allow or kick them. These are safety aids, not guarantees: they depend on Discord permissions, role order and uptime, and we do not promise they will stop every harmful bot or person. The owner or an Administrator makes the final decision on each prompt and is responsible for it.

Server owners may ask us to add a user to the global blacklist. Requests must be truthful, include real evidence and must not be used to harass, retaliate or settle personal disputes. Nexo staff review every request and may approve, decline or remove an entry at their discretion. Making false or abusive requests can lead to removal of Nexo from your server or a platform ban. If you are on the list and think that is wrong, contact us (see Contact) and we will review it.

Protections such as anti-nuke, the webhook shield and automatic restore act on the audit log and on messages in real time. They may delete webhooks, messages, channels or roles that look like part of an attack, and they may remove roles from, kick or ban the person responsible, as configured by the server. They can be wrong, so keep your trusted users up to date and review alerts. Restoring a deleted channel recreates its settings and permissions but cannot recover its message history. We create a permanent invite to each server so our team can help you when asked; you can switch that off in the setup wizard or dashboard.

5. Free and Premium plans

Nexo has a Free plan and paid Premium plans that raise limits and unlock extra features. What each plan includes is shown on the plans section and in the dashboard before you pay. We may change plans, limits and features; if a change materially reduces a paid plan you have already paid for, you can cancel and ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

6. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Premium is bought for one Discord server and is a subscription that renews automatically each billing period (shown at checkout) until you cancel. The price, currency and billing interval are shown before you pay, and Stripe Checkout shows the total to be charged, including any taxes, before you confirm. There are no other fees from us. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees.

You can cancel at any time from the dashboard (Premium → Manage billing). Cancellation stops future renewals and Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. If we change the price of an existing subscription we will give you notice before your next renewal so you can cancel.

7. Your content and our rights

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a licence to store and process it only to provide the Service. We and our licensors own the Nexo software, branding and documentation; you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms.

8. Intellectual property complaints

If you believe content handled by Nexo infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the details and we will review it promptly.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep Nexo available but it depends on Discord and other providers, so we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend or discontinue features. If we end the Service entirely we will give notice and refund prepaid, unused Premium time.

10. Termination

You can stop using Nexo at any time by removing it from your server and deleting your account data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, abuse the Service, or the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example ownership, liability and governing law) will survive.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. Moderation tools are aids; administrators remain responsible for their servers and decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profits or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.

Consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and mandatory consumer rights in the EU, UK and elsewhere. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law; you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice (in the dashboard or on our support server) before they apply. If you keep using Nexo after the effective date you accept the new terms; if you do not agree you can stop using it and cancel Premium.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction, but this does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
